Our History
Our organization began as the NEPA Baseball Coaches Association in 2023 with schools from Districts 2-4-11 and evolved into the state association for the 2024 season with the help of newly hired Penn State coach Mike Gambino. Our first official meeting was held in Boalsburg, PA on January 27, 2024. It led to the unveiling of the All-State team with many more goals on the horizon.
Mission Statement
The purpose of this organization shall be to promote, unify and develop baseball at all levels in the state of Pennsylvania. All the while members shall foster higher standards of professionalism and ethics.
Objectives
- Interact positively with players, umpires, school and league officials, parents, and communities.
- Continue professional development as it relates to the knowledge and awareness of baseball and coaching management.
- Provide a cooperative and open forum to share information/concerns and debate issues/rule changes influencing the state of baseball in Pennsylvania.
- Recognize players for their athletic achievements on the playing field or their character at all times through award programs.
- Maintain strong relationships with national, state and local organizations of baseball.
